_Plastic products and materials are one of the most widely use supplies in the U.S. Mostly used for packaging market products and consumables, bags for carrying purchases and other stuffs, main component used for the production of a of market products, disposable materials and so on. Do you know that there are almost 10,000 kinds of plastic all around the world that are likely different.

It's a versatile component that can be infused or combine with various elements, thus creating a limitless purpose and application. But what's saddening is that plastic materials are mainly non-renewable resource petroleum, and take up almost 20% of the total waste stream. Roughly less than 10% of plastic materials are only recycled, the rest are being burned in the incinerators. Thus releasing more greenhouse gases into the air we breath by burning petroleum in order to produce plastic materials. It's so alarming that not all of us and not even half a percent of the total population are merely concern about this, thus plastic recycling is not greatly promoted.

Plastic recycling is very important and it's necessary. It is the process of remanufacturing used scrap of waste materials made from plastic materials. Recycling those waste materials that are mainly made of plastics is like saving 40% of natural energy that are used from manufacturing new plastic products. An estimated value of about 30% of our landfills can be save from plastic recycling. To some who are not knowledgeable on how plastic materials are made, they're created by mixing petroleum / natural gas with oxygen or chlorine that requires burning or large amounts of oil.

Plastic recycling creates hundreds of useful and beneficial new products that can be use by other market consumers. Like remanufactured toner cartridges and ink cartridges, these printer consumables are mainly made of plastic, therefore recycling them creates a lot of benefits especially for budget wise consumers. Recycling printer cartridges produces eco friendly toner cartridges and ink cartridges that are not only less expensive but are also efficient to use for your printers. What's more advantageous from plastic recycling is that, it creates jobs for the locals and in the U.S.

So together with PrintGreen let's promote plastic recycling and create a bigger number of population that are aware and concern about the good impacts of recycling.

Despite the aggression of typhoon in several countries around the world, the disastrous and tragic incidents of flooding that causes many lives to be buried, people are still unaware and not concern of the proper wastes disposal.

Improper management of waste and the bad habit of careless garbage disposal, is definitely a threat to everyone of us and also to the environment. The mentality of buying, consuming and then disposing is in contrary to a sustainable way of living. An eco friendly way of living embraces the environmental awareness and conservation, taking care of the natural resources and promotes recycling. Reducing wastes, segregating them to where they properly belong, reusing materials that can be use, composting them if possible, and recycle if necessary.

Ecological way of living will reduce the worlds growing amount of wastes from the landfills. An estimated value of 13 million tons of waste and garbage are yearly being dumped to these landfills. Let's put an end to the obsolete practice of dumping and burning of wastes, let's try to create a possible way on how we can stop or possibly close down the illegal dumpsites and landfills all over the world.

Cease yourself from purchasing and consuming disposables, those single-use materials, throw away stuffs and the likes. Opt for those materials that are reusable, such as cloth bags, use hand towels instead of tissues and so on. There are a lot of stuffs that you can use in place of those non reusable materials, like remanufactured toner cartridges and ink cartridges. You should have heard of printer manufacturing companies who accepts returned cartridges to undergo the process of printer cartridge recycling producing eco friendly toner cartridges.

Imagine if your country is merely producing 40,000 tons of waste daily. Of the 14,000,000 tons of waste produced annually, roughly about less 50% of it are the ones only collected and thrown into proper waste disposal facilities, of which only 10% are considered sanitary landfills, while the rest are open dumpsites.

If we wont stop our bad practice and put an end to our obsolete behaviors. Each time that typhoons and natural disasters strikes us, there would be no chance for us to avoid devastating incidents that may occur year after year.

Have you tried to take a look around you, and notice all the the plastic consumables and materials that surrounds you? Even in your humble houses, you can find plastic materials all around. In a world that disposable goods are very common, as well as convenient products that in most cases are non degradable. Unrecyclable materials can bring much trouble to us, it may not manifest now but soon everyone who have contributed to this mountainous waste of plastics, will realize the cost of what they have done.

There was once a story from an article of an albatros that died due to starvation, the reason behind the death of this bird, is starvation, its belly was filled with plastics instead of food. As a consumer, do we know everything or at least know enough about the products that we purchase? Aside from the term, it is made of plastic ,what more do you know about the raw materials used in the production of these goods that we consume. As a trade secret, product manufacturers not only plastic manufacturers are keeping the real mixtures of what their product was made of.

Even your pets can be susceptible to dangers that plastics may bring. Do you know that feeding your pets, from plastic bowls can give them allergies and rashes? Plastic feeder and bowls allow bacteria to breed and multiply. You have no way of determining if ever the packaging that indicates antibacterial is definitely true, cause more probably they're not. Your medications can also be covered with layers of chemicals and or plastic, and still you have no way of avoiding it unless you know it's harmful.

Our oceans and seas are already polluted by theses chemical, plastic ingestion and choking are just some of the caused of death of sea turtles and birds feeding from the sea, as well as endangered species living in the ocean that has been polluted by wastes and garbage not only plastic that people have been throwing and improperly disposing on several bodies of water that flows down to the sea. Innocent creatures are suffering due to our own negligence.

Recycling is one great solution to these global concerning problem. We end up with this situation due to our own carelessness, and it's us alone can do the proper solution to solve this. PrintGreen promotes plastic recycling, like those printer cartridges that are mainly made of plastic raw materials. Good thing there are a few companies who developed eco friendly toner cartridges and ink cartridges. Recycling these common printer consumer commodity is a great start to solve the issue about waste reduction. Using remanufactured toner cartridges and ink cartridges can create a big impact on saving the environment.

Since a lot of company, businesses and organizations are getting concerned and aware of the green economy concept, they're now starting to use environment friendly products and energy saving equipments to save and cut down their expenses. To support this green concept, equipment manufacturers are trying to develop products that are energy saving, cost effective, eco friendly and cause less negative impact for the environment. Printing industries have created eco friendly toner cartridges and ink cartridges, works well with environmental efficient printers and performs of par to original branded printer cartridges.

These environment friendly printer cartridges are now commonly known as remanufactured toner cartrdiges and ink cartridges. They're basically made from original toner and ink cartridges, returned by most consumers who participates as well to the green concept. Recycling printer cartridges involves a lot of stages of quality testing and processes that assures the quality and peformance of every recycled cartridges they produce. These recycling stages are mainly for the reason of providing high quality and standard remanufactured toner and ink cartridges. Since printer supply consumers has a common belief that recycled cartridges are substandard, brand manufacturers and other third party remanufacturers are still aiming to develop and improve the performance of their recycled cartridges, or might as well even exceed the performance of what original cartridges can offer and deliver.

Purchasing recycled printer cartridges like LexmarkC734 is not just simply saving money and buying cost-effecive printer supplies. There  are also a number of environmental benefits that comes from purchasing and using recycled or remanufactured laser toner and ink cartridges. Recycling can provide a lot of benefits not only to most consumers, but also to the environment.

It reduces the mountaining numbers of waste in the landfills. Using remanufactured toner cartridges keep non-biodegradable materials out of our landfills including plastic, metal, rubber and toner. On an average note, it takes 725 years for a discarded cartridge to decompose.

It definitely preserved and conserve the natural resources available in the environment. Remanufacturing used toner cartridges also minimizes the amount of raw materials used in making new cartridges. It also reduces pollution and the usage of non-biodegradable materials such as metal, foam, aluminum and steel.

And last but definitely not the least, energy saving, a lot of of natural energy saving. Using remanufactured toner cartridges also saves energy. In every production of a single toner cartridge, 3 quarts of oil are burned and by buying remanufactured toner cartridges instead of new one, you can save that amount of oil.

There are different ways on how you can teach your kids to practice recycling. One fun learning activity will do, to help them appreciate the benefits and advantages of recycling. What could be a better way to let them absorbed it other than by letting them have some hands on activity to nurture their awareness for the environment.

Crafting and fun filled activities are what children love the most. They can be creative from doing recycling projects and have fun at the same time. What you need to do first is by telling them the importance of doing recycling. Then if you feel like they already absorbed the essence of it, let them find things and stuffs alike that can be recycled. In that way, you'll see if they really understand the meaning and basic concepts of recycling.

Now, after they have gathered all the necessary stuffs for the activity, tell them to express their ideas about recycling and why do they think that the material they have brought can be recycled. This part can be difficult to some kids so you must provide guidance, and be ready as well for tremendous questions that kids would probably ask.

Here's the fun part, after your discussion about the materials they brought and the methods of recycling of them, tell them to create cards and posters that signifies the importance of recycling those materials. It can be a logo, a picture, a sign, or whatever they would like to create so long as it's still connected with the activity. You might be needing to provide paper materials, coloring and painting materials, water based glue, pencil or pens, and scissors or any safe cutting tools for kids.

While doing their cards, provide supervision to avoid any unnecessary accidents that may occur during the activity. These fun learning project can be a good start for kids who haven't got any idea about recycling. You may also site some examples of recycled materials that are now known and are being produce globally, to encourage them that recycling doesn't only end from creating useful materials. Like those eco friendly toner cartridges that are now being produce globally and has become an option for wise buyers. Thanks to the person who got the idea of reusing printer cartridges, and developed remanufactured toner cartridges.

Eco Friendly Working Environment
From every offices and any working environment, green concepts are not particularly given enough attention. They use office supplies of every kind like plastic, metal, paper and so on. Using those materials is not the problem, but the disposal and the way of throwing them is simply the problem. Improper waste management, their common perception is to just throw them into the bin and wait for the garbage collector to pick them up, then what's next. What do you think would the garbage collectors do with those, they won't bother recycle your own waste, all those waste will just be dumped to landfills. Though I've heard some do recycle their community wastes but i haven't known the reason.

It would be better if every employee in an office will be concern about proper waste management and recycling. It may sound too silly, but a company who practice and promote recycling for me is much better than any other company. A briefing about waste management will do, in order to awake your employees sleeping awareness of recycling. Let's take an example to make it more clear, how about an equipment that most employees often use like the printer. Printers of course are non disposable equipment, but the cartridges that they need to produce printouts can be disposed of.

What if for a week, your team can empty about 2-3 printer cartridges. But in a company it's not always common to have a single team, so let's say you have four teams in the department. Four team multiplied to 3 cartridges per week, that's about 16pcs of cartridges every week and 64pcs every month, just do the math if you want to know the figures for a year. Instead of recycling those empty printer cartridges, they just dump and chuck it to the garbage bin.

Have you tried using eco friendly toner cartridges and ink cartridges? Actually there are ways on which you can recycle your empty printer cartridges, and if you can't do the recycling, then send them back to your respective manufacturer and let them do the right thing. You can track manufacturers near you that accepts returned printer cartridges. You might even be too lucky to get paid for returning those empty cartridges, just like the previous article Where There's Trash There's Cash that I've posted.

Printer cartridges should be properly disposed, as it contains chemicals like toner particles and inks that may be harmful to our health. You must at least provide a separate bin for stuffs and supplies that are considered hazardous to prevent any unwanted problems. Head online and check for recycling plants and facilities that accepts empty cartridges, they produce remanufactured toner cartridges and ink cartridges which are cheaper but still meet the original brand specifications.

Eco Friendly Paper Mache
Do i need to say PrintGreen loves paper recycling? Well actually, yes i admit it and i do get enticed every time i learned a new way to recycle paper. Paper, plastic, wood, metal, and all sorts of materials that can be recycled, they all get me so excited.

Have you tried using those shredded pieces of paper to create a beautiful papier-mache? For those who have no idea what is Papier mache, it is a French term that means "chewed paper". According to Wikipedia, paper-mache is a composite material consisting of paper pieces or pulp, sometimes reinforced with textiles, bound with an adhesive, such as glue, starch, or wallpaper paste.

If you don't have any idea on how to recycle those strips of paper, instead of throwing them to your garbage bins, or burned them which i definitely don't agree, why don't you use them to make a paper mache vessel. I'm sure every one of you has a printer at home or offices, and you get bulks of old reports and printouts that you shred every day to get rid of. For now, we'll not dump them into the bin, what we'll do with those papers is use them to create a beautiful vessel made of shredded pieces of papers.

Here's how, we need to gather some stuffs before we begin. We'll be needing a small size balloon, but if you prefer medium size, that would be your choice. Old paper pieces shredded or hand torn. Glue or wallpaper paste. Paints of whatever color you choose, well for me i prefer black and gold.

First, inflate the balloon with enough air then knot it, we'll be using it as our mold. Prepare the pieces of paper by soaking them to the glue or paste, then one by one stick it to the balloon. Start covering from the top of the balloon as it'll be the surface base of the vessel, then continue pasting till you reach at least half of it. I forgot to tell, draw a line in the middle of the balloon as an indicator on which part you'll end pasting. Do the paper pasting until you're satisfied of the thickness and height of your vessel. Once you're through, set it under the sun and let it dry for several hours or until the paper mache is completely dry. If you think its hard enough, remove the knot of the balloon and gently release the air, slowly and carefully to avoid deforming your vessel. Let it dry for more, as the glue from the surface inside might still be damp. Once the glue is completely dry ready your paints, and start painting your vessel, you may use a different color for the outer surface and another color for the inner surface.

I hope you enjoy creating environment friendly projects with PrintGreen. Think of other ways to recycle papers, and help save the environment. You can also use eco friendly toner cartridges and ink cartridges for you printer, to save your money and our natural resources at the same time. Cost effective, reliable performance and environment friendly, that's what remanufactured toner cartridges can offer for you and for the environment.
